The Duane Dean Behavioral Health Center's Women with Children Wellness Program
provides rehabilitative services for women, who are alcohol and/or drug abusers, and their children.
The purpose of the treatment program is to provide gender specific treatment & services designed to address/remove barriers that are problematic to women such as:
- Stigma
- Childcare
- Transportation
- Assistance with Housing
The additional goals of the program is to:
- Assist the patient in the reunification of the family members
- Maintain and strengthen the family structure
- Develop positive self-esteem and positive self concepts
- Develop and increase problem identification and solving skills
- Develop and increase positive and appropriate parenting skills
