Comparision to:
Treatment Episode Data Set (TEDS)

This is a comparison of patient discharges from Duane Dean Behavioral Health Center alongside the national TEDS averages.

Using the Treatment episode Data Set (TEDS) a national survey was used to compile data on the length of stay in Medication-Assisted treatment programs and the reason for discharge from these programs.

According to the TEDS research 49,000 admission and discharge records from 28 different states show that 11% of patients successfully complete Medication-Assisted treatment programs and almost half of the people dropped out of treatment.

The above chart shows TEDS discharge rate which is the national average in blue and Duane Dean Behavioral Health Centers discharge rate in red.

Duane Dean Behavioral Health Center does better than the national average in EVERY category except “other”. Duane Dean has a higher completion rate, fewer dropouts, less people who are terminated and less people that leave for other programs.

While we’re proud to be better than the national average, we continue to develop evidence based process improvements.
