Ms. Kathleen Dean graduated Silver Cross Hospital as a licensed R.N. Ms. Dean was employed at several Doctor and Dentist Offices, St. Mary’s Hospital, the Heritage House, TB nurse for the County and a nursing supervisor for the Illinois Veteran Home.

Ms. Dean married M. Duane Dean, the founder of Threshold later known as Duane Dean Behavioral Health Center. Ms. Dean raised five children, which all five are college educated. Ms. Dean is now enjoying her retirement.
